Public Speaking Success

Set yourself up for success at any public speaking event by consciously doing these 3 things.

✅ Posture – stand tall, feet hip-width apart, back straight. Avoid crossing your arms, or closing your body in any way. Keep an open posture.

✅ Breathe – engage the diaphragm, draw the air down into the stomach area. This calms nerves, energises the body, and creates more power in the voice.

✅ Project – talk to the back of the room, using the force of air from the diaphragm. This isn’t shouting, this is learning to use a strong and dynamic voice.

Combine these 3 things and your voice will convey authority and confidence at any speaking event.
