Here’s quick voice tip for polishing a presentation.

Zoom in to the TV monitor in this picture and you will see 3 voice recording tracks. This is key to my voice coaching approach, and allows clients to ‘see’ their voices as well as hear them.

And what vocal traits do these audio tracks reveal ? Volume changes, pauses, word stress, pacing…

All the elements of vocal variety that turn a good speaker into a great speaker.

You may not have fancy recording equipment like I have at the studio, but there are plenty of recording apps that allow you to see the tracks, as you listen back. (I use “iRig recorder” on my iPhone.)

So, if you want a deeper dive into your voice as you prepare for a presentation, consider seeing your voice on a digital track.

That way,  you can get double the feedback – vocal and visual.
