Free Your Voice

One of the greatest joys of my work is watching people connect their voice and body, and then seeing a release.

I don’t just hear, I see.

I see it a lot as I sit opposite them in the recording studio.

Initially, a posture that is closed – shoulders hunched, head down, away from the microphone.

But as the session unfolds, and they settle in to hearing the intricacies of their voice, the body begins to straighten, the chest widens, the facial muscles relax.

The voice is the gift that keeps on giving.
